Transformed a big but old-school brand into a brand with a modern name, modern identity, and contemporary look & feel without losing its relevance to the existing target audience, and in the process appeal to a wider audience.
Creating a cool new brand is easier than recreating/revamping an old, traditional brand into a cool new brand. But that’s exactly what we did with Bharat Dairy – one of the biggest dairies in Mehsana, North Gujarat. While Bharat was commercially... successful, the next phase of growth asked for some serious rethinking on brand strategy, branding, packaging design, and brand communication. The task was tall but so was our vision for the brand.
We started the brand rebuilding exercise by giving the brand a beautiful name that is cool yet relevant, simple yet creative. We rechristened brand Bharat Dairy to Bharat Horns. Horns because they represent dairy cattle in a refreshing and interesting way. Horns because they also represent the strength you get from milk and other dairy products. The way one good thing leads to another, Horns led to a very interesting brand identity which in turn led to clutter-breaking packaging design.
The culmination point of this brand revamp exercise was Bharat Horns' brand campaign. The campaign turned heads and created the right kind of conversations for the brand. The campaign was extended to all possible elements to create a big impact - innovative teaser and reveal ads, outdoors, hoardings, print ads, posters, danglers, vehicle branding and a lot more. After all, making an old brand "cool" is not a child's play.
