Revamped Sonia, a popular Nigerian brand, in a way in which it appeals to the new consumers without alienating the existing consumers
Creating work for different markets is nothing unusual for an ad agency but creating work for a different culture altogether comes with its own set of challenges. Because... you're creating something for someone who's sitting on the other side of the planet, someone who you've never met, seen, or interacted with. But thanks to our client at Sonia - one of the most popular food brands in Nigeria, we never felt like we were creating work for an invisible target audience.
Sonia has a growing basket of products with tomato mix being it's flagship offering. Sitting across different time zones, we've been able to revamp the brand identity as well as its packaging design to give the brand a fresh and contemporary look. But that's not all, we've designed the entire package that goes with a new look - posters, point of sale materials, vehicle branding and a lot more. As Sonia is all poised for a big leap, we too are in the process of doing some groundbreaking work which will take the brand to the next level.
