How We Turned Fragrance Into Gold

Incense sticks are found in every home, a product that you don’t give a lot of thought to, but holds significant importance. The problem? Create a print and outdoor campaign that stays in consumers’ minds for years to come, and more. Here’s how we approached it:
  • Inculcate religious elements while keeping it on modern lines.
  • Come up with simple creatives that are bound to be understood by a diverse audience.
We pitched incense sticks as God’s favourite. And guess what? Managed to win two gold awards at Foxglove Awards, 2018 edition. That’s not all the tricks we have up our sleeves, the standing pouch packaging design for incense sticks was created right here at HCF, for Kalpana. Our approach towards marketing for this particular brand has always been guided by out-of-the-box thinking: all collaterals have been put through a whole lot of thinking – how to turn a routine, mundane product on the tip of everyone’s tongues.

Packs that look good, and smell even better

Multilingual marketing collaterals with a simple yet effective design layout made this work outstanding. Communication that delivered the sentiment of turning a concrete structure into a home through these incense sticks struck a chord with the audience.
