Blending a refreshed personality with a fresh new face

The mandate was to relaunch the brand in a modern, contemporary way and infuse it with a more youthful spirit, effervescence and vivacity. To complement the new logo, new look and the new packaging that we had developed, we needed to find the perfect mix of youthfulness and sophistication to represent brand Umiya. As a key part of our goal of ‘Refreshing the Refresher’, Shivangi Joshi, a popular face in the television world was brought into the new frame of things. She became the perfect larger-than-life brand ambassador in a larger-than-life pack. Highlighting the fact that everybody’s favourite Umiya Tea was now available in an attractive new pack.

The face that relaunched the true love for tea

Youthfulness effervescence Shivangi Joshi ebullience and liveliness infused vigour into the brand. Her face made the communication fresh, lending a lot of enthusiasm to the brand personality. Vitality simply radiated from all the materials that were used for communication purposes – be it at supermarket aisles, newspaper ads, delivery vans, shopping malls. We had indeed created a storm in a tea cup!
